From Blackmail to Showdowns: A Thriller That Delivers
28 Dec 2024
Ethan Kopek, a TSA agent at Los Angeles International Airport, finds himself blackmailed by a passenger determined to smuggle a mysterious package onto a plane, undetected.
The unnamed antagonist, portrayed by Jason Bateman, talks to the hero through an IEM. But probably the most compelling bits in the movie are the repeated face-to-face encounters, throughout the film. Jason Bateman tells Ethan Kopek, played by Taron Egerton, to let a certain suitcase with “nothing of interest” go through the security checkpoint X-Ray scanner.
“And why would I do that?” asks Ethan.
This movie delivers an exciting sense of thrill that I haven't experienced in quite some time. These last few years, I’ve watched many films that aim to do the same, but they often end up being predictable. However this movie kept me at the edge of my seat, maintaining the tension up until the very end.
